Summer 2019 on Film

Summer may be over, but these vibes are forever.

One thing I’ve learned this summer is that I love it when I embrace and photograph the mundane and the causal everyday moments. The imperfect photographs of the right moments hold so much value to me. These are the types of photographs I will look back on in 10–20 years and be able to relive this summer again and again. These may be casual “snapshots” but they really are some of my favorite photographs I’ve ever made.

Chris is an absolute grill master. Still thinking about this meal he cooked for us.

Our absolute best friends, Chris & Lizzy. They photographed our wedding and they are two of our favorite photographers and friends we could ever ask for!

Some sort of film damage happened on this frame. Not sure what caused it. It didn’t happen on any other frame on any other role.

A band called The Maine.

A lot of friends. Celebrating my good friend, Jaime, who threw this night together for her birthday.

My awesome friend and co-worker, Jaime Andrews. She is an absolutely amazing photographer.

Another amazing photographer friend of mine, Mary Catherine.

Not sure how I missed focus on this one. Literally was in zero rush whatsoever.
